Kyrgyzstan is preparing to host one of the biggest cultural and sporting events in the exciting 2026 World Nomad Games, an international gathering that showcases the rich traditions and unique athletic competitions of nomadic cultures from around the globe.

Your journey begins with an inspiring morning city tour that unveils the vibrant spirit of the capital. Stroll through the heart of the city at Ala-Too Square, where history and modern life intertwine. Continue your walk beneath the shady trees of the picturesque Oak Park, home to open-air sculptures and local artists at work. Then dive into the colorful chaos of the bustling Osh Bazaar — a sensory feast of aromas, spices, and handmade treasures that capture the essence of Kyrgyz culture. After lunch, set out for the breathtaking Ala Archa National Park, where a refreshing hike amidst the towering Tien Shan peaks awaits. After breakfast, you will set out for the tranquil Chon Kemin Valley, a place of stunning natural beauty surrounded by rolling hills and snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival, you will settle into a cozy local guesthouse and enjoy a hearty homemade lunch prepared with fresh regional ingredients. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a two-hour horseback ride through the beautiful landscapes of the Chon Kemin National Park. As evening falls, you will relax in the calm embrace of the valley, breathing in the fresh mountain air and savoring the peaceful contrast to the vibrant energy of the city.

2nd September
Following breakfast, you will depart for the resort town of Cholpon Ata, located on the northern shore of the sparkling Lake Issyk-Kul. After checking into your hotel and enjoying lunch, you will head out to experience the excitement of the World Nomad Games.
You will witness Kok-Boru, a thrilling traditional horseback game where riders race across the field to grab a goat carcass and score points, showcasing incredible horsemanship, speed, and skill. This exciting spectacle offers a true glimpse into the nomadic spirit of Kyrgyzstan.

3th September
Today is a very important and central day of your tour. You will spend the day fully immersed in the excitement of the Nomad Games 2026 at the Kyrchyn Ethno Village. Here, you will witness a variety of traditional competitions and nomadic sports, including wrestling matches that showcase strength and skill.
You will also have the chance to enjoy demonstrations by eagle hunters and archers, and explore the village to meet local artisans, watch craft demonstrations, and learn about Kyrgyz traditions and culture. This full day is dedicated to celebrating the vibrant nomadic heritage, offering unforgettable experiences and spectacular sights.

4th September
You will explore Karakol in the morning, visiting the picturesque Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church and the distinctive Dungan Mosque. Then, you will travel along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul to Bokonbayevo. On the way, you will stop to visit Jeti Oguz and have a lunch break, where you can also take a short walk to admire the famous “Seven Bulls” rock formations. After that, you will continue to the stunning Fairy Tale Canyon. After visiting the canyons, you will continue your journey, and before reaching Bokonbayevo you will stop near the lake, where you will also enjoy the beauty of Issyk-Kul by walking closer to its shoreline.

5th September

After breakfast, you will depart for the high-altitude gem of Son Kul Lake. Along the way, you will stop in Kochkor village to visit a local women’s cooperative and witness a fascinating carpet-making demonstration, seeing how traditional felt carpets (shyrdaks & ala-kiyiz) are carefully crafted. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the breathtaking Son-Kul Lake (3,020m a.s.l) and settle into your yurt camp, experiencing the authentic and peaceful life of high-mountain nomads.

6th September

You will enjoy a final morning taking in the majestic, serene landscapes of Son Kul Lake. After an early breakfast, you will begin the scenic journey back to Bishkek, stopping along the way for lunch at a Dungan family house and enjoying a taste of local hospitality. You will then visit the historic Burana Tower, an ancient minaret and archaeological site that offers a glimpse into Kyrgyzstan’s rich past. After exploring Burana, you will continue your drive to Bishkek. In the evening, you will enjoy a farewell dinner, celebrating the end of your unforgettable Kyrgyz adventure.
